In accordance with her wishes, a graveside service will be held for Louise at the Ben Lomond Cemetery 526 East 2850 North, North Ogden on Monday, September 19th at 11:00 am. The family is grateful for the loving care given to Louise by her many friends, the staff at Mountain Ridge Assisted Living Center and Debbie Johnson from Inspiration Hospice Services. She was preceded in death by her daughter Wendy King Taylor, brother Jay Bailey and her sister/cousin, Gwila Nelson. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Susie Bailey, son-in-law, Richard Taylor (Bonnie), eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, the Curry stepchildren and many nieces, nephews, and loving friends. Louise is survived by her children, Deborah Gill (John) from her first husband, and Vickie King and Mike King (Bonnie) from her second husband. She was, for many years, the sole provider for her four children. She will be remembered for her loving kindness, her famous chocolates, and her sense of humor (scaring the kids at Halloween by taking her teeth out and pulling a stocking over her face.) She was a devoted mother and a woman of determination. Louise will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She was also a service missionary in Ogden’s inner-city and volunteered in the Ogden Utah Temple. Quality Quick Print Quality Quick Print has been serving the area for over 40 years Founded in August 1979 by Gerald and Lynette Heidecker, the Heidecker family has built it’s success on family values, strong work ethic and a passion for what we do We've grown a lot over the years, not just in size but in technological advances. Throughout her life, she served tirelessly in many leadership positions in her Latter-day Saint ward. With her daughter Vickie, she volunteered at Ogden Regional Hospital and at the Salt Lake Airport as a therapy dog handler. She spent time as a victim’s advocate for the Weber County Attorney and the Weber-Morgan Children’s Justice Center. Louise had a gift of compassion and was a loving friend and caregiver throughout her life. She went on to manage Quality Quick Print after moving to Ogden in 1975. She graduated from Provo High School and worked at her father’s business, Bailey’s Moving and Storage. While growing up, Louise learned the value of hard work from her parents. She loved the beautiful quaking aspen and pine trees that surrounded her childhood home. She was born in Scofield, Utah to Nita and Clifford Bailey and was raised in Clear Creek, Utah, where her father worked in the mines. Doris Louise Curry, age 92, passed away on September 12, 2022, in Ogden, Utah.
